Coming Soon - Spring 2010
(selection only - see our link above for complete listings)
12th - 13th April 2010 "Serenading Louie" by Donmar. Hall for Cornwall is one of only two venues outside of London to stage Serenading Louie. This moving play follows the fortunes of two couples as they enter their thirties and evaluate work, their marriages and their dreams.
27th - 28th April "Companhia de Danca Deborah Colker" It is their ability to combine the passionate with the sublime which makes a performance by Companhia de Danca Deborah Colker a truly unforgettable experience.
8th - 9th May 2010 "Peppa Pig's Party" The popular children's character comes to stage in a great show for young children. Packed with songs, muddy puddles and "oinks"!
10th - 15th May 2010 "Calendar Girls" Following the success of the film, this story of women on a mission to raise funds for a good cause in a rather unique way now comes to the stage. Touching and at times hilarious the show boasts a very strong cast of well-known actresses.
25th - 29th May 2010 "Pirates of Penzance" This rousing Gilbert and Sullivan opera brings the "Modern Major General" and a flat-footed policeman.
4th - 5th June 2010 "Birmingham Royal Ballet" present three classical pieces; Brouillards, Dance House and Slaughter on Tenth Avenue
14th - 19th June 2010 "Laughter in the Rain" The Neil Sedaka story featuring many of his best loved songs.
28th June - 3rd July 2010 "Stepping Out" This light hearted show follows the fortunes of a hapless (and less then talented) dance class as they prepare for their first performance. Stars Brian Capron and Anita Harris
5th - 10th July 2010 "Columbo - Prescription: Murder!" The case that launched the career of Lieutenant Columbo is brought to the stage. Dirk Benedict plays the permanently dishevelled yet tenacious sleuth.
24th - 28th August 2010 "Oklahoma!" Starring Marti Webb and Mark Evans, this perennially popular musical spectacular is sure to be a big success. Early Booking advised.
7th - 11th September 2010 "Witness for the Prosecution" A suspenseful courtroom drama adapted from Agatha Christie's original text. A very strong cast is headed by Honeysuckle Weeks.
