The Barn Theatre, Oxted
The Barn Theatre, purpose built as a local community theatre, was opened in 1924.
It now hosts plays, musical evenings and a variety of other entertainments by resident and non-resident local societies.

Directions

By Car
From M25 Junction 6, take A22 for East Grinstead.
In one mile at roundabout take A25 for Oxted (3 miles).
Do not enter Old Oxted.
Take first left on entering Oxted signposted 'Barn Theatre'.
At roundabout take first left, past Total petrol and turn right to pass under railway bridge.
At roundabout keep straight ahead (caution).
In 300 metres, theatre is on left before Oxted School.
From Croydon, enter Limpsfield on B269.
At sharp left bend at bottom of the village turn right (caution). Follow along Bluehouse Lane for about 1 mile, Barn Theatre is next door past Oxted School.
By Train
Oxted station is on the London Victoria to East Grinstead/Uckfield line.
On leaving the station platform, by descending stairs, turn right. If travelling from East Grinstead/Uckfield direction, leave the station building, turn left and descend into subway.
Turn left at bottom of stairs to pass under railway.
At the cross roads, turn left and walk to roundabout.
Turn right and in 300 metres, theatre is on left before Oxted School.
